Dominique E. Heller Chaired HCBA Securities Section’s CLE Luncheon On November 9, 2015

The Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Securities Section co-hosted a CLE luncheon with the Corporate Counsel Section on November 9, 2015 at the Chester H. Ferguson Law Center in Tampa, Florida.  Fifty-five people attended the presentation titled “Let Bylaws Be Bylaws: A Discussion of Corporate Governance and Deal Litigation Issues.”  Participants had an opportunity to hear from, and speak with, panelists about recent developments in the realm of corporate governance and shareholder disputes.  The panelists included: Christopher O’Reilly, Esq., Associate General Counsel of Emergent Capital, Inc., Richard Leisner, Esq., Trenam Kemker, Chris Polaszek, Esq., Morgan & Morgan, and Mike Matthews, Esq., Foley & Lardner LLP.  The event was moderated by Judge Samuel J. Salario, Jr., Florida Second District Court of Appeal.  The event was organized by the Section’s Co-Chairs, Dominique Heller and Dan Dietrich.  Dominique is a lawyer with Wiand Guerra King.
