George Guerra Honored At SWIFS 4th Annual Spring Symposium
In honor of his support, mentorship and advocacy on behalf of women, Guerra & Partners Shareholder, George Guerra, received the “Advocate of the Year” award from the Southeastern Women in Financial Services (“SWIFS”) organization. The award was presented to Mr. Guerra at SWIFS’ 4th Annual Spring Symposium on May 14th at Raymond James’ headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. Guerra also participated on a panel at the Symposium and presented on the topic of developing leaders. SWIFS is a network of 130 female corporate counsel and outside legal advisers in the financial services industry. SWIFS’ mission is to enrich the professional lives of its members through leadership education, networking, and continuing legal education and to support the financial education and economic security of women in the Southeast through community partnerships, education, and advocacy. Mr. Guerra is the first recipient of the SWIFS annual Advocate of the Year award.
