National Solutions LLC Receivership

Federal Trade Commission v. National Solutions LLC, et al., Case No. 11-cv-1131-ORL-33GJK (U.S.D.C., M.D. Fla.)

The Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) brought a civil enforcement action against National Solutions LLC (“National Solutions”) and numerous individuals and related entities in the above-captioned case (the “FTC Action”), alleging that National Solutions was operated as a deceptive telemarketing and timeshare resale scheme. On July 12, 2011, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida issued a Temporary Restraining Order and appointed Burton W. Wiand as receiver (the “Receiver”) for National Solutions and its related entities.

The FTC reached settlements with a number of the individual defendants, and on January 2, 2013, the District Court entered a Final Judgment and Permanent Injunction against defendant Leandro Velazquez, the principal architect of the scheme. On March 5, 2013, the District Court entered a Final Judgment and Permanent Injunction against the entities used to perpetrate the scheme and another individual who did not reach a settlement. These documents may be downloaded below. Shortly thereafter, the District Court closed the Receivership.
