George Edgecomb Bar Association Bestows Chemere Ellis With Prestigious Rising Star Award
Guerra & Partners is pleased to announce that Chemere Ellis has been named a Rising Star by the George Edgecomb Bar Association (GEBA), Tampa’s largest predominately African American voluntary bar association. This award is bestowed upon an attorney who is an exemplary bar servant and demonstrates leadership within her profession. Indeed, Chemere actively serves as the Chair for GEBA’s Law School Committee, has been selected to Co-chair the Securities Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association (HCBA), is a member of Journal Committee for the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and is a recent graduate of the HCBA Leadership Institute. Chemere is also an active member in the Florida Bar’s Business Law Section and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.
